I’m currently working on something I’m very excited about, but can’t announce just yet. I still want to give you all a hint though!
The photos in the triptych above are of the Loew’s Kings Theatre lobby when the theater was open, 30 years after it had been closed, and six months into the restoration.
Keep an eye out for more details soon!

More please! Will be great to see how the restoration is progressing.
MATT, Matt, will you be giving tours of the Bridgeport, CT. Palace and Majestic Theaters in the future?
No plans at the moment. If I ever do start giving tours I’ll be sure to announce it here.
Please do. I haven’t been to the Palace since 1974. They closed in 1975. Right before they closed they stopped showing Adult movies and switched to 2nd run movies. Majestic closed in 1971.
I can’t wait.
I am so incredibly pumped! I showed your site to some of my middle school students recently. You do great work!
Thanks Patrick!
Truly hope your “new project” is totally successful! Am a member of THS-was in the theatre @2002 NYC convention – theatre is outstanding – can hardly wait for more “progress Photos”!! Also quite involved in ATOS (organ nut) truly hope organ is re-installed!!
