Auditorium, Colonial Theatre – Augusta, Maine.July 24, 2021, is a return to the Colonial Theatre in Augusta, Maine. When I first photographed this theater there was a giant hole in the middle of the auditorium, luckily that has been fixed and it’s much easier to move around the place. Auditorium, Goodwill Theatre – Johnson City, NY
I had a workshop planned for the Goodwill Theatre in Johnson City, NY in April 2020 but it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I’m still working with the owners on finalizing a date but it should be sometime in the Spring of 2021. I will put out an update the second the date is locked.
There are other locations in the works (outside of the New England area) but that announcement will have to wait for another day.
After the Final Curtain 
Have you ever been able to access the Boston Theatre on Washington Street in downtown Boston?

Hey Matt: I would love to do at least one workshop– but have a few questions so I know what to expect: 1. Is the Orpheum pretty much in the same condition as it was in ’18 when I took your workshop? 2. I was last at the Victory in ’18. Wondering if the seats are still there or if there are other big changes? 3. I went on a photography workshop last summer that was supposed to be a “mask required’ workshop. But when we got there, the leaders essentially said they wouldn’t enforce that. It ruined it for me. Will you be requiring masks throughout? Thanks so much,diane

The Orpheum is in worse shape due to some more water damage. I’ve been told that a lot of the junk in it will be thrown out by May 1st, but I won’t have confirmation on that until a little closer to the date.
The Victory still has all the seats. I haven’t been since 2018 either, but have been told it’s pretty much the same.
Until further notice all of my workshops are social distance and mask required. I purposefully limited the number of people allowed on each one to make it easier and to comply with the current guidelines. If anyone is caught not wearing a mask they will be asked to leave.
