I’m currently on a road trip to photograph some more abandoned theaters. Day 1 was spent revisiting the Ramova Theatre in Chicago.
The Ramova Theatre opened on August 21, 1929, and closed in the mid 1980s.

I hope you had a chance to stop in the Historic Ramova Grill right next door. The Grill has been at that location for 82 years is very well known for their Homemade Chili. Recently the building was sold and the long time Grill is being forced out to make way for a chinese restautrant.
Yes, we ate at the grill before we went into the theater. They make a great bowl of chili.
